Head along to the Kalgoorlie Fire Station this Sunday for an open day and help raise money for charity.
The open day will run from 10am to noon and will promote fire awareness and raise money for the Champagne Sisters Relay for Life team.
The day will include a sausage sizzle, giveaways, free information and literature on fire safety and awareness.
Children’s activities will include a shooting target game and a how to evacuate your house in case of fire game.
Kalgoorlie Fire Station Officer Martin Cable said the open day was to raise money for a good cause, to promote fire awareness and also to promote the high incidence of cancer and asbestosis in firefighters.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
