Dine to break dementia stigma

Where some enjoyed morning tea for cancer research, everybody can now share dinner to raise funds for quality dementia care and education programs.

Dine4Dementia is a new initiative from Alzheimer’s Australia WA aimed at breaking down the stigma and myths surrounding dementia.

Alzheimer’s Australia WA Goldfields coordinator Rae Bransgrove and Eastern Goldfields Community Centre coordinator Sue Nybo have organised a lunch at the centre on June 20 from 11am to 2pm.

From now until June 30, anybody can host a lunch or dinner.

Guests are then invited to make a tax-deductible donation to Alzheimer’s Australia WA in lieu of bringing a gift for the host.
