If there’s anything better than a hot cup of tea, it’s knowing that by drinking it, you are helping a worthy cause.

The Goldfields Community Legal Centre held a Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser last week, pouring hot cuppas and handing out delicious treats from 10am to noon.

Members of the public were welcome to attend the fundraiser for the Cancer Council in the car park at the rear of the centre.

Manager Effie Harris said she and the centre’s staff wanted to do something to help support research into cancer, so they ended up hosting their first ever Biggest Morning Tea.
