Local songbird and songwriter Jennifer Renee Hannam has been name Best Teen Vocalist at the Go For 2&5 Western Australian Country Music Awards at the 2012 Boyupbrook Country Music Festival.

The talented 14-year-old was also named runner-up in the Junior Songwriter category of last week’s festival.

For the awards night Jennifer sang her original compositions Bumpy Ride and In These Fields of Gold, songs which were included on her newly-released seven track EP “No-one’s Girl”.

Jennifer’s next performance will be at the Nannup Festival on March 2 where she will also attend music workshops.
