The start of the annual March fly season was not enough to deter a keen field of golfers taking part in a stableford event at the Pink Lake Golf Course on Saturday afternoon.

Long pants were definitely the order of the day as golfers swatted flies in between hitting golf balls.

They were competing for a trophy donated by Ryan and Tina Potts.
