Support for missing man’s family

Friends and family of missing Boulder man Charlie Park gathered at the Recreation Hotel on Saturday to show their support for the concerned family.

Wearing T-shirts featuring a photo of Mr Park accompanied by the words “Have you seen Charlie?”, the family was comforted by the support shown by the community.

Mr Park’s granddaughter Jayne Thornton said the family was still hoping for any information from the public in regards to his disappearance over two months ago.

“Any information, even the smallest piece, could be crucial when it comes to finding him,” Ms Thornton said.

“We just want people to keep him in their thoughts; anything might jog someone’s memory.

“We held this event in the hope someone might come forward with some more information.”

A board showing photos of Mr Park was on the pub window and guests were encouraged to wear a yellow ribbon showing their support.
