A workshop will be held in Kalgoorlie-Boulder this week aiming to increase the confidence and skills of young people.

The community leadership youth participation program will be delivered by the Local Drug Action Group.

Community program officer Jenni Henderson said the Kalgoorlie Drug Action Group is one of 65 LDAG groups across the State and the program was about keeping an eye on your mates.

“The bottom line is it is a youth leadership workshop and is aimed at people who see themselves as leaders or potential leaders, people who want to be positive role models in the community, ” she said.
