It will be an arty occasion to remember when Fossick Handmade holds an artists’ appreciation event tonight. They’ll be cracking out the champagne and nibbling canape s during the post Valentine’s celebration of “We Love our Artists”.

Fossick’s Tina Bryce said the event was all about showing appreciation and thanking the artists for their talent and contributions since the store opened mid-2011.

“We are always proud to support and promote the works of local artists; we have more than 30 Goldfields and regional artists exhibiting and the display is constantly changing,” she said.

Fossick recently scored their first international artist, Tom Hickman, a Briton who is based in France but currently touring the south-west of WA.

“Tom creates amazing artworks as he travels and we are lucky enough to have these pieces on display, but only for a short time,” Ms Bryce said.

Award-winning local indigenous artist Debbie Carmody is another whose works are featured at Fossick. Fossick Handmade is situated at 93 Egan Street. Established and aspiring artists interested in displaying works should phone Fossick Handmade on 9022 3472 or visit www.fossickhandmade.com.au.
