GCH gives year a flying start

Goldfields Crane Hire has had a charitable start to the year – the company has donated its prize money for Best Business Entrant in the St Barbara’s Day Parade to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

GCH operations manager Mark Corradetti handed over a $1000 cheque to Kalgoorlie senior base pilot Lindsay Fosbery last month.

Mr Corradetti said all staff at the West Kalgoorlie business unanimously agreed the money should go to the RFDS.

“Thankfully as a business, we haven’t yet had to call on the RFDS for a staff member,” he said.

“But we send a lot of our guys to remote areas and if anything went wrong, we know we could count on the RFDS.

“They’re there for all of us.”
