True Envy has added a new dimension to its business with the launch of Envy Beauty.

Owner Janine Rowe said she expanded into beauty because of strong demand from clients since buying the hair salon 18 months ago.

“We had lots of requests for beauty services and treatments, ” she said.

Envy Beauty offers waxing, tinting, facials and massage for both men and women and will move into providing spray tans, event makeup, manicures and pedicures in time for Race Round.

Mrs Rowe said Envy Beauty’s “really competitive pricing” will bring a lot of customers especially from True Envy’s loyal customer base.

Beauty therapist Sheree Vodden has been employed to manage Envy Beauty full time.

Miss Vodden has been practising beauty for more than four years.

Opening hours are Tuesday and Fridays, 9am-5pm, Wednesdays, noon-6pm, Thursdays 9am-8pm and Saturdays 9am-4pm.
