The initiative will provide nearly 900 iPads for Year 1 and 2 classes across the State.
School principal Leonie Clelland said she was thrilled the school was announced as a recipient of the iPads.
“It is a real coup for the school and we are extremely excited to be a part of the program, ” she said.
“We will receive 48 iPads for the students and all the Year 1 and 2 teachers will also get one when they arrive in mid-February. We will also receive funding for additional teacher learning so they are able to assist the children with their learning.”
Ms Clelland said the program would complement current learning strategies.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2012.
