The first day of school can be difficult for parents and students alike, but eight students at O’Connor Primary School will not be alone when they attend school today.
Three sets of twins, Justine and Georgia Norman, Abe and Holly Ralston and Jaymee and Gary Hooks will begin kindergarten at the school, while another set of twins, Jaxon and Corey Sime, will begin Year 1.
While some of the students were a little hesitant about attending school for the first time, many were excited about the prospect of their new adventure.
Sporting their brand new backpacks and smart new uniforms, the students looked the part as they were assigned their classrooms.
Proud dad Garry Ralston said his children, Abe and Holly, couldn’t wait to attend their first class.
“They are both really excited and looking forward to going to kindy with some of their friends and meeting new ones,” he said.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2012.
