A woman hospitalised after a bicycle accident says the incident occurred through no fault of her own.
Sandy Sangster was taken to Kalgoorlie Hospital on Monday morning after the accident, which occurred about 6.30am.
“I was riding along Graeme Street near Hannans Primary School when it happened,” Ms Sangster said.
“The young man involved missed a give-way sign and drove out of Nankiville Road in front of me.”
She said she hit the driver’s door and was knocked off her bike.
“The man was quick to help me and came round to check on me during the day,” Ms Sangster said.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2012.
