Local music star launches first CD

More than 150 people joined Jennifer Renee Hannam poolside at the Rydges Hotel on Sunday to celebrate the release of her first CD, titled No One’s Girl.

At just 14 years old, the CD release marks the end of an extraordinarily successful year for Jennifer Renee.

Of the seven tracks on No One’s Girl – six of which were written by Jennifer Renee – two have already been nominated for Tamworth Songwriters Association awards in the junior category and one was nominated for a West Australian Music Industry award in the 14 years and under category earlier this year.

The CD was produced with the help of local songwriters and musicians Lynn Hazelton, Marty Carmichael and Caroline Frawley, who joined Jennifer Renee on stage.

Jennifer Renee plans to take her CD to the Tamworth Country Music festival to sell and give to prospective scouts next month.
