St Mary's Primary School students have reached new heights – braving an eight-metre rock climbing wall.

An initiative of the Parents and Friends Association, classmates of all ages, from pre-primary to Year 7, took part in the challenge.

P&F committee member Sharon Softley said the event, held over two days, was an “exciting” activity for the children.

“It was a great way for kids to build a bit of confidence and overcome their fears,” Ms Softley said.

“I think it’s something they will remember for a while.”
