The North Kalgoorlie Primary School choir has entered the Creative Change GenerationOne school competition.
The national competition, run by GenerationOne and the Australian School of Performing Arts, aims to raise awareness and get young Australians actively involved in the initiative to end indigenous disparity in one generation.
The choir, comprising 43 students, sang their version of the GenerationOne Hands Across Australia theme song and included their own rap.
They recorded a music video around the school and created posters in pairs showing what GenerationOne meant to them.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
