The Year 7s at O’Connor Primary School presented an amazing assembly item on Friday incorporating Gangnam Style and The Wiggles.
We thought for our last year at O’Connor we could have fun with The Wiggles because you are never too old to have fun.
Dorothy the Dinosaur was played by Olivia Thomson, Veronica Aratea played Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog was played by Freesia Pearce, Baby Wags was Kelsey Ace-Watson and Psy was Lianah Ingram.
When the class did “Get ready to wiggle” the characters got principal Steve Delfs to get up and have a wiggle.
After the assembly, the class danced in the music room for the kindy and pre-primary students. It was hard because it was a smaller space, but we enjoyed it and the pre-primary students loved it, with some of the children dancing to the songs. We really loved our Wiggles performance and it was a great end to our primary school education, but it’s only the beginning for us and a fun reminder to keep wiggling.
