Brothers get into fundraising spirit

Two Boulder boys are doing their bit to raise money and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation by taking part in this year’s World’s Greatest Shave.

The World’s Greatest Shave takes place every March and people across Australia are encouraged to shave, colour or wax their hair to raise funds for the foundation.

This March, 14-year-old Thomas Breeze and his 12-year-old brother Jackson will shave their heads in support of the event.

Thomas said he was inspired to take part after the loss of a family member two years ago.

“My uncle died from cancer so we are taking part in his memory,” he said.

Anyone interested in making a donation can either go to the Boulder Newsagency or go online to www.worldsgreatestshave.com and sponsor Thomas or Jackson.
