New faces in Army

The Kalgoorlie-Boulder community has welcomed two newcomers to the city as they begin to serve the Salvation Army in this special region.

Lieutenants Mark and Zoe Schatz were appointed to Kalgoorlie-Boulder after spending the past two years in Melbourne and then completing a stint in Narrogin.

“We are just trying to get into the community and becoming known so people can come to us for help if they need it,” Mr Schatz said.

“Overall I love the place.

“I think it is a great town with a great spirit.”

The couple spent two years in Melbourne where they studied for advanced diplomas in ministry.
