Despite a hard-fought win at Geraldton Turf Club yesterday, trainer Kim Anderson said the Geraldton Cup is not on the radar for promising stayer Benevous.
Benevous took out the Mount Augustus Tourist Park Walkaway Cup (2000m) ahead of the heavily fancied Light That Smile.

Once the field of four horses jumped, it always looked a race in two.
Light That Smile went to the front from the barrier in typical fashion, and set a very slow pace.
