Wanderers had few problems with Bluff Point in A-grade cricket at Eadon-Clarke on Saturday.
The Pointers’ biggest obstacle, as often before, was Bruce Gillingham’s unbeaten century.
Gillingham remains the run machine he has always been, and notched his 26th ton.
To underline this, it’s worth noting that next on the list for most hundreds is Clint Yeates’ 14 while Gillingham’s 13,542 runs is 3223 runs more than next highest Bernie Knight.
He struck 17 fours in his unconquered 109, adding 160 with Shayne Bidwell (78) for the fourth wicket and then an unbroken 72 with captain Brad Annison (41*).Full story in today's print edition.
