Police have appealed to members of the public for information into deliberately lit fires at Waggrakine Primary School and properties in Rangeway.
Separate fires to a utility vehicle and a house on Hardman St are being investigated, along with the school fire.
A woman sleeping in the house was woken by a smoke alarm after the fire engulfed her home about 3am on Saturday.
The fire spread to the property from an adjoining shed where the blaze is understood to have been started.
Police said part of the internal roof collapsed soon after the woman fled from the burning building.
A Mitsubishi Triton utility was also torched several doors down from the house.
The utility was parked on the lawn of the property, just metres from a house.
Pupils at Waggrakine Primary were still able to attend school today despite up to $800,000 fire damage caused to the school’s administration and conference facilities.
The fire started about midnight on Saturday.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged over a break-in at the school and criminal damage.Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the time of the fires is asked to call Geraldton Detectives on 9923 4549.
