An 18-year-old man is due to appear in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court today to face charges over a spate of alleged burglaries and vehicle thefts.
Police allege the offences took place over three months.
A member of public notified police the man was residing at a Rangeway address and he was arrested yesterday.
This followed several police appeals for public assistance to identify the man’s whereabouts.
Sgt Craig Keals, of Geraldton detectives, said the man was charged with 14 offences. These include four counts of stealing a motor vehicle, four counts of stealing, aggravated common assault, three counts of no authority to drive, breach of bail and reckless driving.Police also arrested a 17-year-old male at the same address. He was charged with one count of stealing a motor vehicle and providing false details to police.
