The Geraldton community has swiftly responded to a call for support from a local family struggling with a series of tragic circumstances.
Several events are now scheduled to raise seriously needed funds for Geraldton mother-of-five Sam Prunster, who is in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital following an aneurism suffered on December 6.
Ms Prunster, the popular IGA Express Tarcoola franchisee, underwent emergency brain surgery in Perth and two subsequent brain operations, before then suffering a stroke.A quiz and auction night, a netball tournament and concert are all being planned by members of the community with the family.
