An incident at the Mingenew Rodeo Concert involving a fire truck has landed a man with a $250 fine for disorderly behaviour in public.

Mark Ashley Madew, 28, was heavily intoxicated when he jumped on to the roof of the Volunteer Fire Brigade’s fire truck, which was on standby at the event, and starting yelling at a crowd of people on September 7.

The wife of a fireman was asleep in the truck at the time.

The Court was told he was mimicking bucking a bull while standing on the roof of the truck.

An officer of the fire brigade squirted him with water to get him off the vehicle.
