An incident at the Mingenew Rodeo Concert involving a fire truck has landed a man with a $250 fine for disorderly behaviour in public.
Mark Ashley Madew, 28, was heavily intoxicated when he jumped on to the roof of the Volunteer Fire BrigadeÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s fire truck, which was on standby at the event, and starting yelling at a crowd of people on September 7.
The wife of a fireman was asleep in the truck at the time.
The Court was told he was mimicking bucking a bull while standing on the roof of the truck.
An officer of the fire brigade squirted him with water to get him off the vehicle.Full story in today's print edition.
