Till smashed, booze stolen

Police are reviewing CCTV footage of a booze theft from Liquorland in Bluff Pt, where a man tried to smash open a till with a large rock.
Sgt Colin Main said the duty manager was moving stock at the back of the store when the culprits entered about 8.40pm.
He said one of the men stole three bottles of Jack Daniels and the other made an unsuccessful attempt to smash open the till with a rock.
Both had fled the scene before police arrived.
