Adults, teenage girl charged for alleged fuel drive off

Three males and two females have been charged with stealing after an alleged fuel drive off in Dongara yesterday.

Geraldton Traffic police were notified about a vehicle which was driven away from the Shell Roadhouse without paying for fuel.

Police allege the five people were located in a stolen Toyota Celica near Phillips Road, Greenough and were subsequently arrested.

A 27-year-old male from Pinjarra was charged with stealing a motor vehicle, driving in excess of 0.05 alcohol, no manual driving license and one count of stealing.

The other males aged 21 and 20, of Perth, received charges for motor vehicle theft.

Two Rockingham females, aged 35 and 16, also received vehicle theft charges.

All four adults were released on bail to appear at Geraldton Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.

The teenage girl will appear in Geraldton Children’s Court on Friday.
