A Queensland man has been charged over a terrifying attack on a woman, who was doused with fuel.
Police allege the 56-year-old man poured fuel over the woman and through a car and a house at Tara, in the Darling Downs, on Sunday, before setting the car on fire.
The woman, 59, was not burned and the blaze was extinguished a short time later.
Police say the pair had been arguing before the attack.
The man has been charged with arson, attempted arson, acts intended to disfigure, wilful damage and threatening violence.
He is due to face the Dalby Magistrates Court on Monday.
