It's just a fortnight until Christmas and by now you're probably in the midst of parties and end-of-year events that can make even the liveliest social butterfly feel flat.
But even if you're burning the candle at both ends, our experts reveal easy ways to have you stepping into your next Christmas party looking fabulous.
Hit the gym
Make sure you have a workout on the day of any big parties, advises Conan Fitness trainer Luke Dimasi.
"There is extra blood flow to the muscles and they feel firm, not to mention the euphoric feeling you get," he says. "Train with weights for a more significant impact in the firm feeling of your muscles."
Don't overdo the workout so you're sore, but Mr Dimasi says a slight amount of muscle stiffness is a good thing.
"It makes for a good feeling when you sense all the muscles of your body have been worked and are active and healthy," he says.
Shed the water weight
Water retention can be the party dress' worst enemy.
"You can reduce water retention by decreasing your salt intake, keeping your carbohydrate intake down slightly the day before an event and even a last-minute dry sauna can make the skin look leaner," Mr Dimasi reveals.
Up your fibre
Eating a heavy meal on the day of an event can leave undigested food sitting in your intestines, making you feel heavy and bulky.
"You can decrease this bulk in a healthy way by having small portion sizes of healthy, nutritionally diverse foods in the days leading up to your event," Mr Dimasi says.
Go for a lot of fibrous vegies and unprocessed low-GI carbohydrates. For the best results, on the day of your big party make the switch to a low-fibre diet, Mr Dimasi adds.
Smooth it out
Give your body a quick nutrition shot with an antioxidant-packed green smoothie.
Athanae Lucev, from Green Smoothie Co, says smoothies are a quick and easy way to get lots of goodness into the body, especially after a late night with too much alcohol.
By adding ingredients such as green vegies, refreshing mint and superfoods such as chia seeds, your body gets a nutrition injection in a tasty drink.
Wrap it up
Keturah Day Spa therapist Laura Keenan says a body wrap is another great tool to slim, tone and purge any toxins before a big party.
Wrap treatments that include steam can also help detoxify and drop any excess water retention.
"We also recommend including a body massage to further help with elimination of toxins and to relieve sore aching muscle tension," she says.
