Three hours of gruelling training every day has paid off for a mother of two who has won three WA bodybuilding titles.
Sam Attrill, of Yanchep, now hopes her taut muscled figure will impress judges at the International Natural Bodybuilding Association Natural Olympia on the Gold Coast this weekend.
The 41-year-old will compete against 270 world bodybuilders on Saturday.
It's not bad progress for a woman who started bodybuilding two years ago during what she described as a mid-life crisis.
"It makes me feel great, on top of the world," she said. "I love the fact that it makes my body look good and it's a very healthy lifestyle."
Mrs Attrill won the open division and overall titles of the INBA and International Federation Body Building WA competitions this month. Earlier this year, she won the open division and overall titles of the World Fitness Federation WA competition.Sponsored links
