New York rapper Azealia Banks has signed on to be the new face of a collection by top fashion designer Alexander Wang.

The singer has shot a promotional video in which she models and dances in the T by Alexander Wang line and performs her track Van Vogue.

Wang said Banks was the perfect pick for his casual collection.

"She exudes a certain rawness that makes her a very unique talent," he told Style.com.

"I loved working with her on this video for T Fall 2012, and think the collaboration captures a collision of energies."
