Food won't be the only thing on the menu when Kimberley Diamond Company's annual Diamond Dinner is held this month.
A "diamond menu" features Fancy Yellow diamonds to be auctioned at the black-tie event, which raises money for children's charity Variety WA.
"All jewellery pieces have been individually designed and handcrafted with the principal diamonds sourced from Kimberley Diamond's Ellendale mine in the North West of WA," the company said.
"Kimberley's unique feature is the rare Fancy Yellow diamonds that are produced from its Ellendale 9 mine and exclusively sold to Tiffany & Co and retailed throughout the world.
"All the jewellery pieces were crafted by Joe Madonini from Diamond and Pearls in Perth."
Variety said on its website that the Diamond Dinner would have "an indigenous theme in keeping with our major beneficiary, the Marulu Project".
"As well as being entertained by many artists, dining on delicious food and wine and an amazing diamond auction, flight and jewellery raffles, the evening will showcase the wonderful work the Marulu Project is doing for the education and prevention of Foetal Alcohol Syndrome in the Kimberley area," Variety said.
This year's Diamond Dinner will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency on Friday, July 27.For details, visit variety.org.au/WA/
