Miranda Kerr uses olive oil and lemon juice on her hair once a week.
The Victoria's Secret model has opened up about her favourite beauty tips. She loves having shiny hair and, after trying many products, she is convinced a secret her mother shared with her is the best way to keep her locks healthy.
"Olive oil and lemon juice," she said, when asked for her best hair secret.
"Minimum once a week, I mix both and I leave the mixture on as long as possible. This is a home-made recipe that my mum taught me and I still haven't found a better one to repair my hair after the shows."
Kerr's family have let her in on many beauty tips. She cites her mother and grandma as her inspirations when it comes to caring for her body.
"My grandma, she is and has still been a natural beauty. When she smiles, she brightens the room," she told Elle France.
"And for good advice, my mum taught me to smile as much as I can. It's an easy tip that can change your silhouette."
Although she thinks looking after her skin is vital, Kerr also relies on cosmetics to look her best. She discussed her favourite beauty products and the look that also wows at industry events."A tinted cream, a touch of chocolate-pink lip balm on the lips and the cheekbones - such as Lip2Cheek Rapture from RMS - and some mascara, like L'Extreme de Lancome. For the red carpet, bold red lipstick is always good," she said.
