WHAT IS YOUR FIRST FOOD MEMORY?
I have a vivid memory of eating fried rice in Singapore when my dad worked on the oil rigs and we used to eat at the markets. I would always order the fried rice - I was allowed to order my own meal which I thought was really exciting.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MEAL?
I love winter food. There's a slow-cooked lamb shank meal that I like, it's a Jamie Oliver recipe. It has anchovies and tomatoes and it takes a couple of hours in the oven and then a couple of hours with the lid off, so it takes more than three hours altogether.
WHAT KITCHEN GADGET CAN YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT?
Well, I have a Thermomix - I don't really want to admit that I've got it because I used to think they were for people who couldn't cook but it gets used every day. I make an ice- cream for the kids that doesn't have any milk in it, it's just fruit, a tiny bit of sugar and egg white.
We like Jus Burgers in Subi because we can take the kids there, they've got colouring-in and they've got a good-size burger - I can't eat a big burger. They do a chicken burger I like.
I have a favourite burger I make at home, too, which is chicken, bacon and pineapple with a sweet spicy tomato sauce. We make burgers at home a lot.
I don't actually drink cocktails but I really like vodka and when we lived overseas we drank a lot of straight vodka. In a tiny little bar in France, the barman pulled out some potato vodka from the deep freeze and just served it straight - it was absolutely beautiful.
BEST CHEAP AND CHEERFUL?
We love Chelsea Pizza - we used to be right next door to them for a long time. The kids love it and they do a chicken pizza with coriander and cashew on it.
WHAT WAS YOUR LAST OMG FOOD MOMENT?
I've just had a birthday and I had a high tea. I saw on Pinterest these beautiful little doughnut holes with chocolate sauce and fresh raspberries. I couldn't find anyone who sold doughnut holes so I made them myself. My mum and I ate the whole batch before the party and had to make them again.
WHAT WAS THE LAST BOTTLE OF AUSTRALIAN WINE YOU DRANK?
The Yard by Larry Cherubino - his chardonnay, I love it. I can't believe it's not more expensive than it is.
WHAT IS YOUR ONCE-A-YEAR FOOD INDULGENCE?
My husband is from New Zealand and we go back to visit his family every year. They live next door to a gelateria called Charlie's. It's out in the middle of the country and when we go to New Zealand we have it every day because it's just beautiful. The woman who started it grows strawberries and blueberries and uses them in her gelato. It's honestly the nicest ice-cream I've ever tasted.
BUCKET LIST RESTAURANT?
I have wanted to go to The Fat Duck in the UK for a really long time. A couple of years ago I saw Heston Blumenthal when he toured. He was absolutely fascinating and that has made me want to go there even more.
WHAT MUSIC DO YOU LIKE TO EAT BY?I like to listen to jazz - my husband just bought me an album by Dave Brubeck.
