RECIPE: Chick Magnet Pizza

Little Caesars king Theo Kalogeracos shares some of his favourite pizza recipes from his second cookbook, Theo & Co. Take 2.

RECIPE: Chick Magnet Pizza

1 basic pizza dough ball - rolled, rested and ready
1 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
80g mozzarella, grated
200g chick peas (from the can is alright)
1 tsp cumin
3 tbsp spicy tomato sauce
pinch of salt
sprinkle of parsley, chopped
3 tbsp natural yoghurt

1 tsp zatar

Pre-heat oven to 220C. Spread garlic on your pizza base then top with the mozzarella. In a bowl place chick peas, cumin, tomato sauce and salt. Mix together, then sprinkle the marinated chick peas evenly over the pizza. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes. When cooked, cut into eight pieces and drizzle with yoghurt. Sprinkle the zatar over evenly, making sure it lands on the yoghurt. Top with parsley and serve.
