Pen guns, ammunition, heroin and stolen jewellery were seized in raids in the CBD yesterday.
A police spokesman said two residential units on Wellington Street were searched as part of an ongoing investigation into burglaries in the metropolitan area.
A significant amount of property was allegedly located in the first unit, including a modified pen gun, ammunition, a sum of cash and a large amount of stolen jewellery.
An amount of drugs was also allegedly found in the home, including cannabis, heroin and methamphetamine.
A 56-year-old man has been charged with possessing an unlicensed firearm, possessing a controlled weapon, possessing heroin and cannabis and possessing unlawfully obtained property.
A 54-year-old woman faces charges of possessing unlawfully obtained property, possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell, possessing paraphernalia, possessing an unlicensed firearm and possessing a controlled weapon.
On a second raid at a separate address, police allegedly discovered a number of stolen items, including several bicycles.
A 53-year-old woman, a 56-year-old man and a 46-year-old man will be summonsed on a number of offences when police are finished with further inquiries.
