An unruly male passenger has forced the return to London of a Qantas A380 bound for Dubai and Australia.
Flight QF2 was over Frankfurt about one hour into the flight when the ruckus erupted and the crew were forced to restrain the passenger.
A Qantas spokesperson said that the passenger was “threatening” passengers and crew.
“The passenger was restrained by crew and the aircraft landed safely in London at around 1150pm local time.”
“The aircraft was met by local authorities on arrival.”
Qantas is working to ensure the aircraft departs London as soon as possible.
“This type of disruption inconveniences our customers and comes at significant cost to Qantas, but we take a zero tolerance approach to aggressive behaviour on board.”
