Fresh from touring Australia as part of The X Factor Live concert series, Taylor Henderson has another reason to celebrate with news his debut album has skyrocketed to the top of the ARIA albums chart.
The 20-year-old had already experienced his first taste of No.1 glory last month when his single Borrow My Heart overtook 2013 X Factor winner Dami Im's winner's single Alive on the singles chart.
And in further proof he is more than just a runner-up, Henderson's self-titled album knocked One Direction's release Midnight Memories from pole position on the ARIAs albums chart at the weekend.
"I thought the feeling of getting a No.1 single for Borrow My Heart was incredible, but a No.1 album is something else," the crooner told an eastern states publication.
"I can't thank all my amazing fans who bought this album enough. I am just so happy that you all like it."
Meanwhile, John Legend's All of Me has become his first No.1 single in Australia, topping the ARIA singles chart.
Legend is in the country touring as support act to Alicia Keys, and while the racy video clip featuring his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, must have given the song its initial viewings, the track has sold enough to be certified Gold in Australia after four weeks in the charts.
