Police are investigating a possible assault after a man was found unconscious outside a Clarkson home last night.
The 31-year-old man is in a critical condition in Royal Perth Hospital this morning after he was found outside a home on Harmony Avenue at about 10.45pm.
St John Ambulance took the man to Joondalup Hospital under priority conditions and he was later transferred to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
The nature of the man’s injuries is not known.
A 34-year-old man is helping detectives with their investigation and the police Major Crime squad is at the home this morning.

She alerted police after a neighbour phoned her to say the man was walking up and down the street carrying a knife.
"I just thought 'this is nuts'. I was fearing for the kids and everything," she said.
She woke this morning to find police surrounding a home 100m away on Harmony Avenue
Vickery Loop resident Rachel Smith said the area was home to many young families.
"Usually this is quiet and the kids just play and it's a nice little area and now we have CSI Clarkson here," she said.
Police have asked anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the Vickery Loop and Harmony Avenue area between 8pm and 11.30pm to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
