Major Crash officers are attempting to identify a pedestrian who suffered life-threatening injuries in Beckenham this morning.
The man is undergoing surgery in Royal Perth Hospital.
He was injured after being hit by a truck and the incident is being investigated by Major Crash officers.
"He has no identification on him and, despite police efforts, they are unable to identify him," police said.
The victim is described as fair skinned, bald, about 26 to 27 years old, of solid build and average height.
He was wearing extra-large size black shorts (sports style), a "female’s top described as being black chiffon from Temt store, with a boat neck", and a zippered grey hoody.
He was not wearing shoes.
"The crash occurred around 8.55am on William Street in Beckenham," police said.
"The man was hit by a truck as it was travelling west along William Street."
