Sex assault squad officers are seeking a predator who sexually assaulted a woman on Sunday night after grabbing her outside a Halls Head bank and carrying her into nearby bush.
There are fears the same man indecently assaulted two teenagers in separate incidents at a Mandurah shopping centre last month and his attacks are escalating.
The attacker grabbed the 30-year-old woman about 9.30pm on Sunday as she stood alone using the Bendigo Bank ATM on Peelwood Parade.
He carried her several metres to bush area and sexually assaulted her.
She managed to scream, attracting the attention of two passersby who came to her aid and the man fled.
Police say the description of the attacker is similar to that of a man wanted for two indecent assaults at the Centro Mandurah Shopping Centre on August 10.
That man groped a 16-year-old girl as she walked past him through the shopping centre about 3.50pm. When the girl's boyfriend challenged the man, he ran away.
A short time later, a 19-year-old girl was approached from behind by a man who indecently assaulted her as she talked on a public telephone in the main mall area. The man then walked away.
The sex predator is described as being dark skinned, aged about 20 to 30, 160cm to 175cm tall, with a medium build and dark curly hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
