In a new scandal for the 20-year-old, Miley Cyrus appears completely nude in her new music video.
The singer released the three-and-a-half minute clip for Wrecking Ball on Monday.
The video opens with a close-up of Cyrus singing the lyrics and then shows her seductively holding a sledgehammer while wearing a white crop top, underwear and boots.
A wrecking ball blasts through a wall behind her in slow motion as she walks toward the camera and moments later Miley swings on top of the apparatus, first clothed and later fully nude.
Terry Richardson is credited with directing the video for Cyrus' latest single, from her forthcoming album Bangerz.
Its release comes just two weeks after the singer's highly controversial performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, which saw her stripping down to flesh-toned underwear and twerking against Robin Thicke.
Cyrus defended the performance last week, insisting critics are over-thinking her provocative displays.
"I don't pay attention to the negative because I've seen this play out, how many times have we seen this play out in pop music?" she told MTV.
The singer also garnered controversy for performing her single We Can't Stop with a band of little people on the German TV show Schlag den Raab on Saturday.
Cyrus is meanwhile preparing to make a splash as host and musical guest of Saturday Night Live on October 5, two years after making her debut on the US TV show.
Her new image isn't impressing everyone, with US Vogue editor Anna Wintour reportedly pulling Cyrus from the cover of the December issue of the fashion publication after being horrified by her MTV performance.Bangerz is scheduled for release on October 4.
