A man involved in an ongoing dispute with the City of Gosnells has resorted to extreme measures to remove a council representative from his land.
In a video posted on the LiveLeaks website today, Kenwick resident Graham Palmer is seen picking up the council car with his forklift and dumping it on the road.
It is understood two people were inside the vehicle when it was first lifted and moved but the video shows the council staffers disembarking the car seconds before the forklift picks it up.
The forklift then carries the silver car on to the road and off the property while the staffers look on dumfounded.
During the 48-second video, a male voice is heard saying “You’re joking . . . I got it mate” while in the background another person is heard shouting “Get off or I’ll call the police”.
The video, titled How to Remove a Trespasser has attracted almost 60,000 views.
The incident occurred on Tuesday on Brook Road in Kenwick.
It is understood Mr Palmer and his wife have been involved in a bitter legal dispute with the council over the use of the land since December 2010.
