There are delays on the Mandurah Line this morning after a train broke down near Murdoch Station.
It is not yet known what caused the breakdown but the train came to a stop about 8.15am heading towards Perth.
Commuters were ordered out of the three-car train on to the platform at Murdoch.
The Public Transport Authority says another train has been dispatched to push the broken down locomotive up the line and off to the side.
Normal services will resume as soon as the train is removed from the line.
Mandurah line services are expected to return to normal from about 9am.
