Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy after he allegedly rolled a car in Perth and then fled on foot in the early hours of this morning.
A police spokesman said officers patrolling the Perth CBD had spotted a Holden Commodore being driven without its headlights on about 12.40am on Wellington Street.
The officers tried to stop the Commodore but the car went the wrong way down King Street.
The Commodore was spotted by another police vehicle soon after as it went down Adelaide Terrace.
The officers in that vehicle lost sight of the car after it turned into Plain Street and then right onto Riverside Drive. The Commodore was found, rolled over, on Riverside drive but the teenage driver had fled.
The Commodore was not stolen and was registered to a Balcatta address. Police went to that address and arrested the boy in relation to the incident.
