Shark detected off Ocean Reef

Update, 5.30pm: Ocean users have been warned of a white shark which was detected off Ocean Reef this afternoon.

Surf Lifesaving WA said the tagged shark was detected by a receiver in the area six times from 3.51pm to 5.08pm.

A helicopter is patrolling the area.

It is not known whether the beach has been closed.
