Man killed in storm-damaged roof repairs

UPDATE: 6.30PM A man has died after falling through a friend's roof while repairing storm damage in Perth's southern suburbs last night.

Coodanup man Brian Tarbrook, 52, was taken to Peel Health Campus about 7pm with severe head injuries but was later pronounced dead.

It is understood he fell through perspex sheets on the roof of a property in Pinjarra.

Mr Tarbrook was reportedly attempting to make repairs to a friend’s garage when he fell and landed on a concrete floor.

Police and FESA are urging residents to be mindful of the dangers that could be present when undertaking storm damage repairs.
