Sunshine Coast siblings *Jake *and * Elle Harrison * may have been touted as My Kitchen Rules' newest villains but according to the brother/sister duo there's far more catty drama to come - and it's not initiated by them.
Jake, who has been dubbed "Jake the Snake", told _AAA _he made no apologies about his upfront attitude and even admitted he was not fussed if people thought he was this year's Dr Evil.
"That's OK," he said. "Those things I did say, don't get me wrong, they didn't dub my voice. I'm just going to take it how it is, but all of my humour is in good taste, it's not a bitchy backlash at anyone. We have a good laugh after everything I say, it's just some fun banter, I'm not trying to lash out at anyone.
"But trust me, there is more cattiness and untamed behaviour to come and it's not from me, let's just say that."
Elle said there were times she cringed at Jake's comments but admitted her brother loved putting on a performance for the cameras.
"Sometimes I'm like 'Oh my gosh I can't believe you just said that'," Elle said with a laugh.
"But Jake's a performer, that's what he does. He loves being in front of the camera, he's loved it ever since he was little. I do wish he had a bit of tact and I've said maybe he'll learn his lesson because he's only 20, he's got a few lessons to learn yet."
Though Elle said serving T-bone steaks as a main meal in their instant restaurant, which aired last night, wasn't their best choice, Jake was upbeat.
"Everyone has to have their bomb-out meal," he said. "I wanted to do something a bit different and it just didn't work but I have no regrets. This is a learning curve, (going on) the show is mainly so you can learn more about food and that's what we've done, we've learnt so much."
When questioned over their feud with *WA *'s *Josh Maldenis *and *Andi Thomas *, the pair had different opinions of the couple.
"I do feel like Josh is . . . like a homophobic person," Elle said.
"I know that's a very strong comment to make but that's just the feeling I get. We just couldn't warm to them. We were really nice to them but, at the end of the day, they weren't the closest team to us."
Jake added: "Josh and Andi are fine . . . we just don't click. He's just different, he's just set in his way, he does his work . . . he likes tradition and I think I break that rule."
While things didn't go to plan with their "pub steak and three veg" meal, both Elle and Jake were happy to have avoided elimination after landing an overall score of 65, putting them ahead of Sydney "Spice Girls" *Jessie Khan *and *Biswa Kamila *, who hold the lowest score of 41.
"Oh I'm totally happy with how it went," Elle said.
Jake added: "I think with the scores we got from the judges being very consistent . . . it just shows that we have potential."
