It's the kind of job most fashion-savvy girls would dream of, which is why budding actress *AnnaSophia Robb *isn't about to take it for granted.
The 19-year-old, above, has the honour of playing a young, wide-eyed Carrie Bradshaw in the prequel to the Sex and the City series, The Carrie Diaries, which premiered in Australia on Foxtel's FOX8 channel last week.
With Bradshaw touted as one of television's most prominent style icons of the 90s and early Noughties, it's no surprise that Robb's fashion selections on set comprise colourful, one-of-a-kind designs.
But the budding actress gushes about one outfit in particular - an over-the-top frock which makes her feel like she's a part of The Nutcracker ballet.
"For the winter dance episode, I wear a dress that made me feel like the Sugar Plum Fairy," she told British magazine Look.
"They flew it in from Beirut (where it was made). I've never seen a dress like it. I haven't asked to keep anything yet but I hope I get to."
While her favourite dress from the series might have been a showy and girly number, Robb admits that she prefers a more laidback style.
"It really depends on what I'm doing. When I'm at home I'm casual and comfortable - I usually wear workout clothes to convince myself to go to the gym," she said.
"When I'm going out, I choose dresses and edge towards the bohemian side. And I love a good pair
of heels, just like any girl. I need to give my feet a break!"
