Friends and fans of Robin Gibb are sending messages of support for the ailing Bee Gees star.
Gibb developed pneumonia and is in a coma in a London hospital, just weeks after announcing his colon and liver cancer had gone into remission.
In a Twitter post, Jackie Jackson writes, "Sending love and prayers to Robin Gibb (Bee Gees) and his family", while Boyzone star Ronan Keating adds, "Just heard about Robin Gibb. So sad. My thoughts are with all his family."
Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden writes, "Thinking about robin gibb. My thoughts are with his family. Hope he fights thru or lives his last days peacefully."
Gibb's good friend Leslie Phillips has cut short his holiday to be by Gibb's bedside as he fights for his life in hospital.
Phillips, who interviewed Gibb for a UK TV show last year, has flown back to London from Ibiza to support the singer."It saddens me deeply - poor Robin has taken a serious turn for the worse. I feel very sad if it is true that he has only days to live," he told Britain's Sun on Sunday.
